Hi my name is Emilie LeFebvre, How do you pronounce that? Right? That’s why I go by my middle name, easier and it sounds kinda better! But its pronounced La’Fave if you wanted to know... About me? Well first and foremost in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ. I draw my strength in knowing He gave me the gifts I have. My relationship with God has helped me through tough times, and grown me in things I couldn’t have done on my own. I’m pretty much 100% more comfortable with being behind the camera than in front of it. With that said I’ve come a long with from being so shy. My old coffee shop job pushed me to become better with people. I’ve learned a lot about what makes up great customer service, all from serving coffee! Speaking of coffee... I love it! Coffee shops are my go to place to meet people. I have a deep love for music! I play bass guitar because it’s the instrument I feel in my heart, literally. I also am a watercolor painter. I love the way I feel when I'm creating art!
Photography wasn't always my dream job. But back in 2012 I bought myself my first dslr and starting working with people, and that's when I really fell in love with the art of photography. Capturing people, moments, or memories, so that they could last forever. I love the people and stories I come across in this career. I just think about how timeless photos can be especially in our digital age. I’ve done a lot to learn as much as I can about photography, but always keeping my own style and creativity. One of the things I hold dear is remembering how unique we are all created. I try and capture that in my work. I know this is the about me, but I want to know who you are and what you love so that the photos I take reflect you and your individuality.
I’m totally into that vintage style. That couch is my favorite among the vintage furniture pieces I own. Which brings me to another about me, one of my other jobs is repurposing furniture! So the vintage look is one of my favorites. I love lace! If your dress is lace I will probably tell you how beautiful your dress is a couple times... And mason jars! Yup, I’m one of those people.
My mission with my business is to glorify God with how I serve my clients, and how I use my gifts to create a joyful experience.
